Life Lessons

I was walking my black lab the other day and listening to a podcast in which Dr. Phil interviewed Mitch Albom, the author of Tuesdays with Morrie.   Although I recalled the basic message in the story I did not remember the subtle and not so subtle life lessons imparted by Morire.   I went into an old closet, dusted off my copy and have been re-reading this book.

If you have never read Tuesdays with Morrie, I recommend it.  If you have read it but need a refresher, it's worth your time.

My Designs

My work is intended to be a one of a kind conversation piece as well as a colorful addition to a home or office.   Recently a client who purchased one of my abstract paintings commented on the texture as well.  He ran his hand over the piece and felt the smooth but uneven surface.

"Where did you get that idea?" he asked.

"I came up with it while I was working in the studio." I said.

One of the reasons I enjoy painting is that it gives me the opportunity to experiment with color, texture and design.  There is no right or wrong answer - only what I like and don't like.
